He has won league titles with Porto, Real and Bayern as well as two Champions League winners' medals during his time in Spain. Everton not only believe they have secured a player who can take them to another level on the pitch, but they also believe his star quality will be a huge asset to their brand worldwide. The Toffees believe it will accelerate their international growth plans by having a player who has such worldwide appeal. And they plan to capitalise on his global stardom in the coming months.
